New Environment : I think I'm doing a good job

Since my last post around here, I haven't posted a single article or whatever. I know, you guys probably hate me now. But when you hear/read the excuse I've got, you'll probably forgive me.
Well... Guess what? No, I actually want you to guess... I MOVED TO AMERICA!
You didn't expect that, did you? Well, Yeah. It happened. I moved from Cairo, Egypt to the United States of America.

Right now, I live in Arlington, Virginia and I go to Wakefield High School. And yeah, I'm perfectly fitting in and I have some friends now. Some of them were nice at first but somehow switched. I'll tell you all about it later, but right now let's start from the beginning because I want to be sure I didn't miss any details.

My first day of school was... Interesting. Here was my schedule for that day:

Biology - Mr. C
History - Mr. G
French - Ms. W
Psychology - Ms. M

(I'm sorry I can't mention any specific names, since I don't feel like getting sued  I've got a lot on my mind already.)

I went to Biology a bit late, since I had to meet  up with my house counselor and get my schedule planned, then there was that nice guy Brandon who showed me around the school for about 15 minutes. So when I went to class Mr. C extra-loaded me with question. I tried to act carefree and answer them casually because I was nervous, knowing that the other kids are staring at me. I was too scared to even look to see who is staring at me so I kept my gaze on my teacher. All his questions were easy (Thank the Lord) to answer, They were all like; what's your name? Where are you from? How old are you? Which middle school did you go to? etc... Then I took a seat in the front row, since it was the first seat I saw and I didn't want to goof around the room looking for a seat then trip or something, that would be so embarrassing!

Then suddenly Mr C was like: ''Well... They have a field trip today.'' He explained ''But... you are not going. Since you just arrived here.'' It was a bit awkward so I was like ''Yeah. I know. Bad luck for me.'' Later on I knew that this was the worst thing to say. But I got over it. I stayed there, for like two periods, waiting for them to come back from the field trip. It wasn't boring, since I had so much to do, from organizing my binders to working on late homeworks.

Days later I've met Lucia, Syena, Sarah/Angela and Alex. First, I didn't talk with Alex because he's so quiet but hey... he's nice...and cute. You're probably wondering why is a slash separating Angela and Sarah? Well, Sarah and Angela are the same person, she has two names. Her mom didn't want her to have her dad's last name anymore so she was like ''HEY! Why don't we change your first name too?'' so she changed it from Sarah to Angela. Later on she changed her name back to Sarah because she thinks it's better. Sarah's relationship is still a bit complicated with her mom.

You've just met Sarah. You'll get to meet the rest later on! Love you all and keep reading!

Ariana Grande's eye-lashes: My 1st time with Mascara

Right before writing this post, I was in the bathroom, scrubbing my eyes to get rid of some extra water proof mascara. I just couldn't help but share this with you guys since I thought that was terribly funny!

Ariana Grande (Look at her eye-lashes! 0.0)
Today's Thursday, I have nothing to do and I was bored. As I flipped through some pages of Twist and BOP I noticed some pictures of Ariana Grande. Did anybody else notice how amazing her eye-lashes are?! I mean...They're long and totally black, while mine are a little bit fair and not that long.

I went and checked if my mom had mascara and to my biggest luck, I found one! I discretely walked to the bathroom and locked the door. First, I tried it on my upper lashes and it turned out GREAT.  I wanted to try on my lower lashes too but I thought it would be too obvious and my mom would notice.

Satisfied with my result, I got out  of the bathroom and put the mascara where it belongs. Only when I was making my way to my room, my mom saw me.

''Are you...Wearing Mascara?'' She questioned. I decided to be honest since I couldn't hide it, I would get in even more trouble, I just nodded.

''How do I look?'' I asked her then. To my biggest surprise, she smiled at me. ''I think you look nice. But don't put too much, other wise you'd lose your natural eye-lashes too.''
I nodded and went to my room. I had an idea, since my mom already noticed, I can now put Mascara on my lower lashes too! I grabbed the Mascara again and put some on my lower lashes. But I looked like a doll! I was ridiculous. So I tried to take it off with some water but it wouldn't even fade! It just ruined my whole face! I read what's on the mascara and it said ''Water-Proof''. Holly Crap! How am I going to take that off right now? As told by mom, she doesn't have any makeup remover and I couldn't walk like this waiting to buy some so I kept scrubbing it with water till it looked acceptable. Thanks God!

I'm still laughing as I remember how I looked minutes ago. Kids, tell your mom before using Mascara, or you'll end up like me, it isn't something pleasant to see. I took a photo, I'd put it on here but I'd just scare you so... Keep on with your life and always think buying a makeup remover before trying any makeup on!
